On Heroes, Hero-Worship, and The Heroic in History is a collection of essays by renowned Scottish essayist and historian Thomas Carlyle. The book was originally published in 1841. It consists of six lectures on the motif of the Hero throughout history, and the form in which they have manifested throughout time.
